Massive US credit card breach linked to malware

The security breach that left the information of 2.6 million credit cards exposed in January has been linked to undetected malware. 

Outside security firms found that a previously undetected malware had caused the breach at Michaels Stores, a major US arts and crafts retailer. The breach had not been picked up through initial security investigations commissioned by Michaels.
